- Description
- Letter from Vanessa Bell, 19 Via Belle Arti, Siena, Italy, to Duncan Grant. She praises Siena, and regrets having to make hurried pictures there instead of letting it 'soak in'. Bell is still ill and cannot accompany Clive and Roger Fry to see the Piero della Francesca frescoes in Arezzo. She continues to speculate about the relationships of her siblings Adrian and Virginia, and summarises a letter from her sister about Leonard Woolf. Also mentions Rupert Brooke and Noël Olivier.
