She is staying with Quentin and Anne Olivier Bell, their children Julian and Virginia, and Grant and Bell's grand-niece Henrietta Garnett. She discusses painting with Quentin in his rooms at King's College from the model, and also mentions Clive Bell and Barbara Hiles ('B').
