- Letter from Vanessa Bell, Hôtel de Londres, Paris, to Duncan Grant. She describes her journey from Spain, where she was travelling with Grant, and her activities in Paris - meeting Roderic O'Conor, visiting an exhibition of Belgian art, shopping and dining. Homesick for her family, she has decided to return to London the following day. Also mentions Angelica and Clive Bell, Mary Hutchinson and the Belgian painter Alfred Stevens.
